The Mid-Columbia Health Foundation's 24th Annual Tournament of Tradition Golf Benefit presented by Xiologix will be held Monday and Tuesday, June 8th and 9th at The Dalles Country Club. There are still openings for players and teams to register for this event.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Next Century Campaign of the Mid-Columbia Health Foundation. This 2.3 million dollar campaign will upgrade the Diagnostic Imaging department at Mid-Columbia Medical Center to an all-digital platform. The digital platform will allow images to be viewed immediately and shared with specialists anywhere, anytime at the click of a button. The Next Century Campaign is the current funding priority for the Health Foundation.
In its 24th year, this tournament promises something for everyone. From the ever-popular 'closest to the Papa Murphy's Pizza' hole to the new 'Fear Factor' hole there will be plenty of fun and challenges. Monday golfers will enjoy a Roast Pig Luau before teeing off and, after three flights of play, the tournament will conclude with the awards dinner on Tuesday evening.
"We are so thrilled with the community support we are receiving this year," says Anne Copper, project coordinator. "We have many dedicated sponsors who have returned to support this event year after year and also many who are new to the event. I think this demonstrates the importance of projects like this to the health of our community."
Golfers of all ability levels are invited to join the many team sponsors, local organizations and businesses as they take to the links for a great cause. To register your team or for more information contact the Mid-Columbia Health Foundation, 541/296-7275, or email email@example.com
