A Note from Dennis Knox
Welcome to MCMC, Cardiologist David Johnson, MD, FACC
Heart Month is celebrated in the United States every February to help educate Americans on facts about heart disease and the importance of a heart-healthy lifestyle. This is MCMC’s first year celebrating Heart Month since announcing our cardiology partnership with Adventist Health Portland’s Northwest Regional Heart & Vascular Center.
MCMC has always been committed to ensuring that local residents have access to quality health care close to home. And thanks to our partnership with Adventist Health Portland, patients don’t have to travel outside of the local area to get outstanding cardiac care.
Adventist Health Portland’s Northwest Regional Heart and Vascular Center is a nationally recognized, regional leader in heart care, providing advanced techniques in the fields of cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiovascular surgery, and vascular care.
Since Sept. 1, Northwest Regional Heart and Vascular (NWRHV) cardiologists have been serving MCMC patients in The Dalles and Hood River, providing personalized care to prevent, diagnose, treat and manage heart conditions to help patients live longer, healthier lives.
Today, I am pleased to announce that board-certified cardiologist David Johnson, MD, FACC, will be joining the NWRHV team in The Dalles. Dr. Johnson received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He has relocated to the Gorge. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Johnson to MCMC.
I am truly thrilled that we have been able to bring world-class heart care to residents of the Columbia River Gorge. If you have not yet had an opportunity to learn about NWRHV, I encourage you to visit their website at nwregionalheart.com.
