Patient Satisfaction
We strive to create an exceptional experience for patients and families. Our goal is to meet or exceed your expectations and to achieve industry-leading levels of patient satisfaction.
At MCMC, patients and their families play an integral role in their health care experiences. We welcome and encourage patients and families to ask questions, be active communicators and give us feedback along the way. MCMC also offers free translation and/or interpretation services to patients and families.
At MCMC, we are continuously striving to find ways to improve the services we provide to our patients and their families. Feedback whether it be positive or negative is appreciated so we can continue to provide superior services with compassion and exceptional outcomes.
To ensure the best possible experience, we regularly survey patients to learn about their experiences, and use this feedback for evaluating and improving our performance. Our surveys are conducted by the independent research company Press Ganey. Surveys are sent to patients who have been seen in the following areas: Inpatient, Outpatient, Medical Practice (clinics), Emergency Department, and Ambulatory Surgery.
The survey results, including written comments, are monitored by our Quality Resources team and shared with appropriate departments and the MCMC Board Quality and Safety Committee. This ensures that our patient experience improvement efforts are based on the results and feedback we receive.
