Biography

Dr. Carr is a board-certified physician specializing in congestive heart failure and valvular heart disease. He is passionate about using advanced imaging technology in his practice and is currently the director for the noninvasive echocardiography lab.

Dr. Carr completed both a master’s degree in pharmacology and medical school at Tulane University prior to moving to Portland where he completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at OHSU.

When he’s not busy with patients, he loves spending time with his wife and their young son enjoying the outdoors, the food industry of Portland, and teaching and playing classical guitar.
