Justin Holt, M.D. chose the specialty of Otolaryngology because it focuses on the ears, nose and throat. These biological features control the senses that make us most human—the abilities to hear, see, speak, taste, smell, and breathe. Conditions that affect these arise in the head and neck, and Dr. Holt is eager to help patients preserve, and where possible, restore full function of the ears, nose and throat.
Dr. Holt earned his medical degree at University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora Colorado and then moved to the Pacific Northwest for residency training at OHSU in Portland. He chose to remain in Oregon for the active lifestyle and the opportunities to boat, fish, water ski, and sail.
Dr. Holt joined Columbia Gorge ENT/Mid-Columbia Medical Center in 2022. “It is the greatest honor and privilege to practice medicine because I do feel that it is impossible for a person to excel at their work and personal pursuits without health,” Dr. Holt says. “I’m fortunate to be able to practice at MCMC, where I know my colleagues share a similar philosophy.”
